Laser Tag

Laser tag is a fairly recent phenomenon as it has only been around for about 20-25 years. This sport can be played as an individual or as part of a team. Laser tag equipment does not really use lasers. The transmitting component is much like the light emitting infrared diodes that are similar to those in remote controls. The laser tag guns shoots an infrared beam to the target which records that signal, indicating a hit. Players all wear these targets so that the laser guns can recognize them. Some laser tag guns also will shine a light beam on the target so the shooter can see them.
